Composition and Purity
Lumino diatomaceous earth (DE) is derived from fossilized remains of microscopic freshwater diatoms. It is almost pure white and contains at least 85% silicon dioxide, making it highly absorbable and suitable for internal use. Darker DE may contain higher levels of iron or clay, but Lumino DE is sourced from extremely pure deposits in the western United States.
